The Role of Andersen Windows and Doors

An essential element of the EDIT’s design is the use of high-quality Andersen windows and doors, which elevate both the visual appeal and performance of the homes. In this project, Andersen products feature:

Variety of Styles: The EDIT utilizes Andersen’s single-hung and picture windows, along with hinged patio doors. While Andersen offers a broad range of styles - including double-hung, casement, bays and bows, and gliding tilt-wash double-hung models - to suit diverse architectural needs, this project intentionally focuses on single-hung and picture window styles for a sleek, modern look.

Material and Finish: All windows installed in the EDIT are from Andersen’s durable 100 Series, crafted with Fibrex® material known for its strength and low maintenance. The hinged patio doors are aluminum-clad wood, combining the warmth of natural wood interiors with protective and low-maintenance aluminum exteriors. 

Energy Efficiency: Andersen windows meet stringent energy-efficiency standards, contributing to reduced heating and cooling costs and supporting the community’s commitment to sustainability.
